Yesterday nothing much happened hence no blog. Gaz and I are back to our healthy eating and managed a hardcore 30minutes at the gym yesterday doing cardio and a further 30 minutes tonight. Gaz has had 2 rubbish days on the computer but tomorrow is another day!
I made a stew last night for us to have for dinner today. It had leeks, suede, potatoes, carrots, beef and onions with a hint of red wine. It was very yummy and i was really impressed to see Gaz eating it! (bar the carrots which he picked out and donated to my bowl). He was about to pick out the suede but i encouraged him to try some (like a mother coaxing her 5 year old boy to eat his greens) and he hesitantly tasted some to find it didnt taste of anything and was a lot like potato! We went to woolworths after the gym and bought a bit of bread to have with the stew. On leaving the house i always check to see if Gaz has his keys. "yes ive got them!" he told me. As we got to the front door upon returning, he couldnt find the front door key and panicked around in his pocket...a bit like he would do at the airport to Berlin every time he looked for his passport. His eyes pop wide open and the look of rabbit in the headlights dawns upon his face as he pauses to re-think where he had the damn things last. He smacked his pockets and delve a hand in a little deeper...PHEW, they were there. I said nothing lol.
Work is going really well and im really enjoying it although i do find i am hanging around a lot because i have 40 minute appointments and usually the patient is in and out within 20 minutes. The receptionists love me because im quick lol.
The weather has been really hot here since the storm on saturday. It is around 28/29 degrees in the day and humid. Gaz keeps sticking the air con on and telling me not to worry about the electricity bills....gulp! Dont know how we are going to cope in the summer if we have the air con on already! 2 more days in work then road trip!!!
Love your description of Gaz looking for the keys and am most impressed you've got him to eat swede. I must say there's a bit of a trend in this blog - every other post is about food!!
